Training programme of life skills on the theme of “Fascinating summer” for students from Dak Lak Teenagers' and Children's House

Within the framework of summer activities in 2018 for students living in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak Province, from 14th July to 16th July 2018 Dak Lak Teenagers’ and Children’s House have cooperated with Service and Environmental Education Center - Yok Don National Park to deliver a training programme of life skills o the theme of “Fascinating summer” for students. Around 30 students of secondary schools in Buon Ma Thuot City have joined the programme. They are trained on life skills and survival skills in the forest. Additionally, they get the chance to experience the beauties of nature, pose questions of environmental protection and biodiversity conservation of Yok Don National Park and take part in various outdoors activities. They are excited and curious to immerse themselves in different reality activities in Yok Don National Park, which would be valuable for their learning and growing journey.

At the end of the programme, participants also learn to sort their garbage, write their diaries, make wall-paper posters and do drawings on this reality trip in the second biggest national park in Vietnam. The participants gained a lot of learning points during this fruitful trip. They dig deeper into how to protect the environment and conserve biodiversity. Not only taking action by themselves but they are aslo potential communicators of these key issues in their families, schools and their community.
